This weekend, April 15–17, the University will host its first Weekend of Excellence to celebrate the scholarly and civic work of the Loyola student body. Special thanks to the staff in the divisions of student development and academic affairs for their work in coordinating a weekend of events that will allow our students to share the results of their learning with family, friends, and neighbors.
The Weekend of Excellence features a number of events that celebrate our students and showcase excellence in a variety of learning settings, including fine arts performances, research projects, student-leadership initiatives, service-learning work, and community-engagement activities. We also hope the weekend increases interest in the learning opportunities available here at Loyola.
All year, our students, both graduate and undergraduate, do impressive work in a number of subject areas and we’ve created this dedicated time to share these outstanding accomplishments with their peers and community.
Weekend events include:
We hope you’ll join us for some of the events. For complete information on the events, including a full schedule, and to view profiles of some of the students involved, visit LUC.edu/excellenceweekend.
